Opening his own high end salon

That same year (2012) Visser opened his own high end salon Meraki, now Bert Visser | Love for hair, at the luxurious 5* Conservatorium Hotel Amsterdam, right in the Museum district. The salon is his home base, where his vision on hair and fashion is perfectly translated to his clients. Local and international celebrities frequent Visser ever since, both at Bert Visser | Love for hair, as in the comfort of their private home. His services are without borders – (international) house calls available upon request.

In 2016 Guido Palau welcomed Bert to his team

During Paris Fashion Week he assisted at Céline, Dior, Valentino and more prestigious fashion houses. Palau’s signature style and passion for hair are a great source of inspiration for Bert.2019 marked his third participation at the Coiffure Award competition. He entered with spectacular creations resulting in the runner up award in Women’s category. This is also the year of transformation. The salon was completely redecorated, renamed Bert Visser|Love for hair and enriched with THE SUITE.
